For Victims and Survivors of Crime Week 2016 and under the theme of “The Power of Our Voices”, AFPAD united its strengths with other organizations namely Deuil-Jeunesse and VASAM to raise awareness of the realities and issues facing victims and survivors of crime.

Each one of our organizations has chosen five (5) punchy statements to inform the public about what our victims go through. Summaries of these “Did you know?” are in video form (see below) and printed as well. Full questions and texts are on our June Newsletter.

To launch Victims and Survivors of Crime Week, AFPAD, Deuil-Jeunesse and VASAM organized a cocktail launch party Sunday, May 29th at Signé MC Lepage (a restaurant in the Quebec National Museum of Fine Arts) where our “Did you know?” video capsules were shown for the first time. The goal was to unify our voices with those of our partners to inform the public about the different types of victims of each of our organizations.

We express our deepest gratitude to all the participants: what a moving result.
All videos are available on AFPAD (officiel)’s YouTube channel
