On May 19th, CANASA‘s Quebec regional council golf tournament was held in Montreal. The Canadian Security Association (CANASA) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the security industry and supporting security professionals in Canada.
During that day, more than sixty people attended the event, mixing pleasure with generosity. While participating in the tournament, golf players also helped us raise some funds.
AFPAD has sold 27 raffle tickets. Plus, a HABS hockey stick was auctioned for our profit and was won by Éric Mantion.
As a result, more than $ 750 were raised. This money will go to accompanying and supporting our members for various needs : psychotherapy, going to Court (food, accommodation, transport), breakfast meetings, etc.
We would like to express our gratitude to CANASA for giving us the opportunity to hold our fundraising campaign during their golf tournaments. And a special thanks to Danielle Paquin (Director, government relations & Quebec affairs) for her commitment in organizing this event and for her interest in our cause.
